COVID-19 Effects on Career Services, Experiential Learning, and Recruiting Industry Tradeshows

The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted the events industry and forced many tradeshows to be canceled or converted to virtual events this year. Tradeshows are considered a central pillar of networking and marketing for organizations where some spend thousands of dollars to attend or sponsor these events.

Tradeshows not only allow companies to interact with buyers face-to-face and exchange information but also give attendees a chance to network and exchange best practices. By converting to a virtual experience or canceling these events all together, companies and schools may miss out on vital opportunities for their organizations.
